Made up of two smaller lakes called Kami Ezu and Shimo Ezu, Lake Ezu is a picturesque body of water covering an area of approximately 50 hectares. Remarkably, Lake Ezu boasts a daily spring water output of around 400,000 tons. Thanks to the minimal changes in water temperature throughout the year, the lake serves as a sanctuary for a wide variety of animals and plants, making them a precious natural treasure. In addition, the area is home to a zoo and botanical garden, boat docks, and other amenities, making it a popular recreational spot among locals. Lake Ezu is great for fishing, jogging, strolling, and sketching. The Suizenji-Lake Ezu spring group has been recognized as one of the Heisei Era's Top 100 Waters.
