The main entrance to Kumamoto Prefectural Office is a promenade lined with ginkgo trees. Every autumn the fallen leaves paint the walkway a rich golden colour. Spotlights light up the trees at night when the leaves are at their most beautiful, creating a magical atomosphere.
Many people come to take photographs and create artwork of the golden trees.
2020 Light-up Information: November 1 - November 30 from 6pm - 9pm
