Amakusa City Dolphin Center Roadside Station

Located on the northern side of the southern island of Amakusa in the town of Itsuwa, this roadside station is a hub for Amakusa tourism, including being the front desk for dolphin watching tours. There is a shop and a restaurant, as well as Dolphin Square, an area where visitors can learn about dolphin ecology.

Among its attractions, the shop area brims with the bounty of the sea and is a must-visit. Here you'll find affordably priced sashimi and processed seafood products, freshly caught from the nearby Futae Fishing Port. Moreover, the fishing association-operated restaurant on the second floor offers an enticing menu, including seafood bowls, sashimi meals, and stewed fish.
