Rakunoh Mother’s - Aso Milk Farm

You can experience and learn all about dairy farming at the Aso Milk Farm. On this 330,000㎡ farm (81.5 acres), they offer various hands-on farm-life lessons including a homemade food class for making sausages and bread with dairy and meat (reservations required three days in advance), milking the cows (offered daily at 1:00pm) at the cowshed, and so on.

The popular petting zoo features sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, and shepherd dogs. In addition, there is a dairy factory open for public viewing, the gift shop ”Milk Farm” for purchasing original milk and cheese, and a restaurant with lots of cheeses along with variety of menu options.

About one million cosmos flowers on this farm blossom between the end of September to middle of October, and they host a potato-harvesting class as a part of their harvest fest in autumn.
