Located right in front of the famous Shirataki Park, CAFÉ Minato, which opened in April 2019, is a popular, trendy spot with a menu featuring local gibier, or wild game, and mountain produce along with other daily goods. With its warm wooden atmosphere, the interior is said to be so comfy that many visitors tend to stay for long periods of time. Experience the healing of nature through the window as you enjoy the exquisite entrées prepared by a local Itsuki chef. Before you know it, you'll be feeling energized for tomorrow.

As a relaxing space with the warmth of wood, there are sofas and tatami rooms where you can relax as you wish. Picture books and toys are also available, so feel free to visit with your children!

The Black Curry with Venison (1,400 yen, with salad and soup) features more than 10 different spices for a spicy flavor. It uses deer thigh meat as the main ingredient, and the curry is packed with local vegetables to make for a hearty meal. Other dishes include Venison Hamburger Steak and Shiitake Mushroom Bolognese.

Itsuki's specialty processed products, such as tea, shiitake mushrooms, and Kunebu dressing, are also available. Be sure to pick some up as souvenirs!

This cafe was formed by renovating an old Japanese folk house. The natural landscape of Shirataki Park through the window is also soothing to the eyes.

Shirataki Park, which sits right in front, is said to have gotten its name after the rock surface which looks like a flowing waterfall.

Keiryu Villa ITSUKI is located on the banks of the Kawabe River, one of Japan's most famous clear streams. Six luxurious villas have been built to blend with the dynamic nature and provide an extraordinary experience, allowing you to forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life in this dreamy place. A full range of activities, featuring grilled meat by the mountain stream using the harvest of Itsuki, are also highlights that will add color to your memories. This is a superb healing spot that you will want to visit again and again to reward yourself.

The six villas built along the mountain stream are full of openness. They are located in an area where the town hall, roadside station, and residences are gathered together, yet the only thing that spreads out in your field of vision is the luxurious scenery of nature.

The inside of the rooms is a relaxing space made of local wood. A pellet stove is also available for use in the winter, with the flickering flames there to soothe you as you chat.

The wood deck is equipped with a tent for glamping (with a kotatsu also available in the tent during the winter). Enjoy an elegant outdoor atmosphere with the murmuring of the river and the stars in the night sky

The Mountain Stream Grill MYOJIN, located in a separate building, offers grilled dishes based on the theme of "glamping" (image of a dinner for reference). Lunch can be also enjoyed by non-guests from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Inside the facility, there is a "Forest Playground" equipped with bouldering and a slackline (free of charge for guests, 200 yen for adults, and 100 yen for children), including a variety of other activities such as transparent kayaking and SUP.

When you check in, head to the Welcome Lounge. The interior will be decorated in a relaxed atmosphere.
