Hanakomachi is a Western-style restaurant located across the street from Kumamoto City's Kita Ward Office. The owner-chef Hiroyuki Honda, who operates this famous restaurant, is particular about local ingredients from Kumamoto and serves dishes handmade from seasonings.
With the idea that "the thoughts and attitudes of the producers are reflected in each ingredient", the chef himself actively visits fields and ranches to pursue dishes that maximize the appeal of ingredients grown by reliable producers.
