Senbonzakura is a famous cherry blossom spot in Takamori Town. There are many kinds of cherry blossoms, such as the Yoshino Cherry and the Yamazakura, blooming along the pass with hairpin turns. The elevation difference from the bottom to the top is about 150m, and you can see cherry blossoms for a relatively long period of time.

The 100 cherry trees are located right next to Tsukimawari Park, overlooking the mountains of Aso. Cherry blossoms are planted one step higher from the parking lot, and the petals dancing in the wind look like snow.

Yoshino Cherry and Yamazakura have been planted in a row along the approach to Aso Shrine, which has a history of more than 2,000 years.
