In Hayasakiseto, the offshore of Hutae port, about 200 wild dolphins are living there. Visitors can meet dolphins in any seasons. They are calm and tender, also friendly, when a boat comes close to them, they will show up for you!!

There are 4 exhibition areas dedicated to the Christian history in Amakusa, especially to the Amakusa Shimabara Rebellion. These include Christian relics remaining in Amakusa, archaeological materials, and ancient ceramics.

Kamiamakusa Onsenkyo consists of two large onsen (hot spring) areas, Oyano and Matsushima, surrounded by the sea. This is also a popular region for exploring the abundant beaches and participating in seaside activities.

Oyano Onsen has many different onsen faciltites such as an onsen bath inside a cave, and "BAR Ashiyu" foot bath. The quality of the onsen here is loved by people of many different backgrounds. 

Matsushima Onsen is so popular among women that it has become known as "Bijin no yu" (the Onsen of Beauty). Most onsen in this area offer breathtaking panoramic views of the sun set over the ocean.
