On April 16 at 6:28 pm, a very minor eruption occurred at the Aso Nakadake First Crater.
Access is restricted within 1 km from the Nakadake Crater, but it is still possible to view the magnificent Aso Nakadake from Kusenrigahama beach, which is about 3 km away.
In addition, the Aso Volcano Museum offers a virtual reality corner where you can experience the state of the crater in real time and the magnificent nature of Mount Aso.
